vCard is the standard electronic contact-card format, recognized by iPhone, Android and address-book apps. The QR code carries the complete vCard inside it.

How much data can I include without hurting readability?
The more fields, the denser the code and the harder it scans at small sizes. Prioritize name, one phone and one email; if printing small, avoid filling everything in.
